Join our team as a Full Time, 2nd Shift X-Ray Technologist at MidState Medical Center in Meriden. In this role, you will operate equipment and perform radiological and therapeutic examinations, ensuring proper patient positioning and preparation of contrast media to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment. You will play a vital part in producing technically excellent images that aid radiologists, while practicing strict radiation safety standards to protect patients, staff, and yourself.
Your day will involve performing diagnostic radiography studies, potentially assisting in complex invasive procedures, and maintaining radiological equipment in good operating order. You will also serve as a clinical supervisor and instructor to students, evaluating their growth and competence. Success in this position requires effective collaboration with other units and departments to provide quality service through communication and cooperation.

This position operates on a Mon - Fri schedule from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, including holiday rotation. Please note that there may be requirements to rotate on weekends, cover ancillary offices as needed, and perform physical tasks such as lifting and walking. The role involves OSHA Class 1 exposure to Bloodborne Pathogens.
