Maximus is seeking a Diagnostic Scheduling Communication Specialist to join our Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) team. In this remote capacity, you will serve as a vital link between veterans, providers, and internal teams. Your primary mission is to manage incoming scheduling communications, ensuring that provider and facility information is accurately dispersed to support regional operations, Team Support Specialists, and Team Leads.
You will handle the end-to-end communication lifecycle for veteran appointments, including initiating calls to gather required information, managing rescheduling requests, and monitoring the Scheduling Hunt Group to ensure timely responses to voicemails and emails. The role also involves processing Claimant Appointment Packets (CAPS), sending manual CAPS, and coordinating with internal departments to facilitate smooth scheduling workflows.
This is a fully remote position requiring you to reside permanently in the Continental US. To ensure security and compliance, remote work must be conducted from the specific location designated at the time of hire; travel for work purposes is not permitted. You will be provided with all necessary computer equipment by Maximus, which must be used exclusively for company duties.
Candidates must have a reliable internet connection (20mbps or higher) via Wi-Fi or Ethernet and a private, adequately powered workspace. Due to contract requirements, only US Citizens or Green Card holders are eligible to apply.
Successful candidates must commit to a rigorous 3-week training period, scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST, with no prescheduled absences. Following training, you will work a standard Monday through Friday schedule. Shift options include 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM EST, or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST.
For positions on this contract, Maximus will pay the prevailing wage rate for the employee's specific location as determined by the Department of Labor. This rate varies by locality. Please note that an applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation.
