Maximus is seeking a Diagnostic Scheduling Communication Specialist to join our Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) team. This remote role serves as a critical communication hub, responsible for managing incoming scheduling inquiries and distributing essential provider and facility information to internal teams. The specialist supports regional teams, Team Support Specialists, and Team Leads by handling specialized administrative functions, ensuring veterans receive timely and accurate scheduling assistance.
This position is strictly remote and requires the incumbent to reside permanently in the Continental United States. Due to contract mandates, candidates must be US Citizens or Green Card holders. Work must be performed from a designated home location; travel is not permitted. Maximus will provide all necessary computer equipment for the role, and new hires must utilize company-provided devices exclusively.
To ensure operational continuity, the home office must maintain an internet speed of 20mbps or higher, connected via Wi-Fi or a Category 5/6 ethernet cable to a home router. Candidates must also have access to a private work area with an adequate power source.
Successful candidates must commit to a mandatory 3-week training period, scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST, with no prescheduled absences. Following training, the role operates on a Monday through Friday schedule, with options for 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM EST, or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST.
For positions on this contract, Maximus pays the prevailing wage rate for the specific location of the employee, as determined by the Department of Labor. This rate varies by locality. Please note that an applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation.
