Maximus is seeking a Diagnostic Scheduling Communication Specialist to join our Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) team. In this remote capacity, you will serve as a vital link between veterans and our provider network, managing incoming scheduling communications and distributing essential facility information to internal teams. Your work ensures that administrative functions run smoothly, directly supporting regional teams, Team Support Specialists, and Team Leads.
This role is designed for individuals who thrive in a structured, mission-driven environment. You will be the first point of contact for veterans requiring scheduling assistance, handling inbound calls, managing voicemail queues, and coordinating the logistics of Claimant Appointment Packets (CAPS). From processing pending schedules to manually mailing hard copies via FedEx, your attention to detail ensures that veterans receive timely and accurate information throughout their evaluation journey.
Due to specific contract requirements, candidates must be US Citizens or Green Card holders. This position is fully remote but requires you to permanently reside in the Continental US. You must work from the specific location designated at the time of hire; travel is not permitted, and all work activities must be conducted from your designated home office.
Candidates selected for this role will undergo a mandatory 3-week training period, scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm CST, with no prescheduled absences allowed. Upon hire, Maximus will provide all necessary computer equipment required to fulfill the duties of the role; new hires are required to use company-provided equipment exclusively.
To apply, please ensure you meet the connectivity requirements, including an internet speed of 20mbps or higher and a private work area with adequate power. For any questions regarding the application process or to request accommodations due to a disability, medical condition, or impairment, please contact People Operations at applicantaccom@maximus.com.
Maximus is an equal opportunity employer. We evaluate qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability, veteran status, genetic information, and other legally protected characteristics. We are committed to providing reasonable accommodations to individuals requiring assistance during any phase of the employment process.
