The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) team in Tukwila or Seattle, WA, is seeking Developmental & Test Mechanics to join our mission of developing parts, production methods, and procedures. In this role, you will work closely with engineering, experimental, and test groups to fabricate, assemble, and maintain complex structural and mechanical components for spares, experimental, and test projects.
You will be an integral part of the testing lifecycle, assisting in layout, fabrication, and assembly of variable angled parts. Your day-to-day will involve hands-on work with hydraulic systems, instrumentation probes, and test structures. You will collaborate with technicians to sequence operations, troubleshoot issues, and develop methods for pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical tests where procedures are not yet established. This role offers exposure to a dynamic environment involving moving machinery, high-voltage electricity, and live aircraft, requiring you to utilize precision tools and safety protocols to ensure accurate data collection and operational safety.

5+ years of experience with power-feed drilling, hand drilling, drill equipment, drill bits, cutters, cutter design, drill bushings, and/or drill nosepieces. 5+ years of experience in Aircraft Structural Repair processes and techniques. 3+ years of experience with structural repairs in the field and in a manufacturing environment. 3+ years of experience in aircraft structures manufacturing processes. 3+ years of experience with aircraft fuselage or wing structures assembly, maintenance or repair. 3+ years of experience in aerospace materials and structures used on commercial and/or military aircraft. 3+ years of experience testing and diagnosing hydraulic, pneumatic, electromechanical components, and test equipment.
