About the Role
Department Supervisors serve as the backbone of our store operations, leading, training, and coaching associates to ensure every customer receives excellent service and can easily find the merchandise they need. Beyond daily team management, this role provides valuable input into operational and merchandising decisions, acting as a key liaison between the floor and the Store Management and Operations Teams.
Success in this position requires strong product and operational knowledge. Depending on the specific store structure, supervisors may lead a single specialized department or a combination of multiple areas. Departments may include Building Materials, Decor, Electrical, Flooring, Gardening, Hardware, Kitchen & Bath, Lumber, Millwork, Paint, Plumbing, Pro Account Sales, Tool Rental, Front End, Freight, Receiving, Associate Support, Special Services, and Merchandising Execution.
