About the Role
Department Supervisors serve as the backbone of our store operations, leading, training, and coaching associates to ensure every customer receives excellent service and can easily locate the merchandise they need. This role is designed to bridge the gap between frontline execution and strategic decision-making.
Beyond daily team management, Department Supervisors provide valuable input into operational and merchandising decisions to the Store Management Team and Operations Team. Success in this position requires strong product knowledge and a deep understanding of store operations. Depending on the specific store structure, supervisors may lead a single department or a combination of multiple areas, including Building Materials, Decor, Electrical, Flooring, Gardening, Hardware, Kitchen & Bath, Lumber, Millwork, Paint, Plumbing, Pro Account Sales, Tool Rental, Front End, Freight, Receiving, Associate Support, Special Services, and Merchandising Execution.
