About the Role
Medical Delivery Services is seeking Independent Contractors to manage medical pickup and delivery routes using their own personal vehicles. This role is designed for drivers who can provide reliable transportation for medical needs without requiring prior delivery experience. The position offers fast onboarding and the opportunity for steady earnings based on route volume, miles driven, and availability.
Day in the Life
Drivers will complete medical pickups and deliveries, which may involve lifting items weighing between 55 and 80 pounds. The schedule typically requires availability from 3:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with shifts lasting 6 to 8 hours. Route release times generally occur at 3:00 AM, though these may vary. Additionally, drivers are expected to work one rotated Saturday per month for 8 hours, starting at 2:45 AM.
Independent Contractor Details
This is a 1099 independent contractor position, not a W-2 role. As a contractor, you are responsible for managing your own taxes, insurance, fuel, and other vehicle expenses. Weekly settlements are processed via direct deposit.
