About the Role
Food and food service delivery drivers fulfill a critical role in the country's food supply chain. As a Driver, Shuttle, you are the face of the company, building lasting relationships with customers while ensuring products arrive at their destination on time and in perfect condition.
In this position, you will play a vital role in the operation of the business by transporting empty trailers to Operating Company warehouse locations and delivering full trailers to domicile or shuttle yard locations. You will drive tandem trailers, tractor-trailers, and/or straight trucks on intrastate and interstate routes. Your mission is to transport these loads safely and in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, while communicating professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers to ensure all questions are answered accurately and promptly.
Hiring Process
Candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment drug test and a road test. A valid CDL A, a clean Motor Vehicle Report for the past three years, and a current DOT Health Card are required to proceed.
