About the Role
As a Shuttle Driver, you will play a vital role in the operation of our business by supporting America's food distribution system. You will transport empty trailers to Operating Company warehouse locations and turn around to deliver full trailers with various products to domicile or shuttle yard locations. This role is essential to keeping the supply chain moving safely and in a timely manner.
You will drive tandem trailers, tractor-trailers, and/or straight trucks on intrastate and interstate routes. Your day involves interacting professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers to ensure questions are answered accurately. You will function as a key team member within the department, performing duties that best serve the company while adhering to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
