About the Role
As a Shuttle Driver, you will play a vital role in the operation of our business by transporting empty trailers to Operating Company warehouse locations and delivering full trailers to domicile or shuttle yard locations. This position is essential to supporting America's food distribution system.
You will drive tandem trailers, tractor-trailers, and/or straight trucks on intrastate and interstate routes. Your day involves ensuring all freight is properly loaded and secured, following predetermined route schedules, and communicating professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers. You will function as a key team member within the department, performing duties that best serve the company while adhering to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
