The Watson Candidate Assistant serves as a vital support function within Dallas ISD, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of critical student data systems. This role is essential for maintaining the district's operational backbone, which includes transcript management, grade reporting, student scheduling, and compliance with state and federal reporting requirements such as PEIMS.
In this position, you will act as the guardian of student demographic and enrollment data. Your day-to-day work involves collecting, verifying, and updating complex datasets ranging from special needs and bilingual program information to immunization records and college entry codes. You will be responsible for entering course masters, managing electronic data transmissions, and distributing essential database products to school offices. Success in this role requires a keen eye for detail to recognize discrepancies and take corrective action, ensuring that all records meet court reporting and regulatory standards.
This is a campus-based position that requires regular and punctual attendance at the worksite. Travel throughout the district is an integral part of the job, and remote work arrangements are not available. The work environment typically features a moderate noise level. As a federally funded incumbent, you will be required to comply with time and effort reporting standards through personnel activity reports or periodic certification.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform responsibilities with limited supervision and possess strong keyboarding or ten-key calculator skills.
