About the Role

The Data Center Technician (Mid) supports day-to-day SEC data center operations under the SEC ISS2 contract. This role is critical for maintaining availability and reliability across SEC data center environments through the disciplined execution of moves, adds, changes, and documentation.\n You will perform hands-on installation, configuration, logistics, and tracking activities for infrastructure and test equipment across the Primary Data Center (Manassas, VA), Alternate Data Center (Edison, NJ), SEC HQ (Washington, DC), and regional environments. The position involves managing physical security controls, key access, and the organization of controlled data center spaces while maintaining accurate software and asset records in DCIM tools. You will directly support SEC operational objectives for resilient, well-documented, and auditable infrastructure services.

Work Environment

This is an on-site position located at the SEC location in Edison, NJ. The role may require participation in on-call and 24x7x365 surge or emergency response activities, including a two-hour response requirement based on operational needs. Travel is required as directed by the contract.
