We are seeking Data Center Technicians to join our growing infrastructure operations team. This is a hands-on, entry-level position designed for IT professionals who are eager to learn and thrive in a dynamic environment. While technical experience is valued, we prioritize a curious personality and a willingness to adapt over extensive prior expertise.
A typical day involves troubleshooting and repairing servers with hardware and network issues, performing hardware diagnostics, and replacing failed components. You will utilize a ticketing system to manage incidents for servers and networking equipment, while also contributing to project work and capacity management. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on their feet, solving physical challenges, and working in a production environment.
We are looking for individuals who are flexible, open to change, and ready to learn new processes. Whether you are a student or have completed an internship, we value your potential to grow. You will be paired with a mentor to guide you as you figure things out, making this a perfect opportunity for someone who likes a challenge and wants to invest in their career. Note that this role requires the use of composite toe shoes (work boots) as a safety investment.
Candidates will be evaluated on their ability to problem-solve individually and their fit within our team culture. We look for those who can manage priorities in a ticketing system and demonstrate a foundational understanding of operating systems, network protocols, and storage devices.
We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer that believes everyone matters. Qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment regardless of their race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital status, national origin, ancestry, genetic factors, age, disability, protected veteran status, military or uniformed service member status, or any other status or characteristic protected by applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances.
If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or recruiting process, please send a request to HR@insightglobal.com. For more information on how we handle your data, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy.
