This position is part of a nationwide program dedicated to maintaining IT infrastructure operations across the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). The contract supports all U.S. airports and over 30 U.S. Embassy and Consulate international sites across 30 different countries where TSA is present.
As a Customer Technical Specialist, you will support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and TSA customers at airports across the U.S. Your primary mission is to provide IT-related operational and project support for Federal Security Directors, staff, and the screening workforce. You will deliver professional, high-quality services and a variety of technologies across airport and off-site locations. This role requires using sound judgment to maintain IT operations, make strategic recommendations, and support multiple Operations and Maintenance (O&M) project activities while adhering to contracted service level agreements.
The day-to-day environment involves delivering support with a professional presence, often directly assisting senior government personnel in high-profile settings. You will partner with Peraton leadership to recommend technology and process improvements that enhance service delivery and the customer experience. This is an on-site role based in Little Rock, AR, with a requirement to travel up to 25% as needed.

Prior experience supporting DHS or other federal agencies. Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Cisco, or Microsoft credentials. Familiarity with Cisco switch installations and complex fiber backbone configurations. Working knowledge of Cat6 and fiber patching, installation, and repairs.
