In this position, you will operate within an independent agency environment, navigating multiple carrier appetites and underwriting considerations to manage and retain accounts. You will serve as a trusted advisor, handling inbound and outbound calls to resolve issues, negotiate, and coordinate across multiple carriers simultaneously. Your work will directly influence retention outcomes through strategic quoting and carrier selection, ensuring policyholders receive the best coverage options for their needs.
You will be responsible for independently quoting insurance policies across 15+ carriers using rater systems and carrier portals. This role requires making informed placement decisions based on risk, pricing, and retention strategy while handling high-volume workflows. Beyond quoting, you will engage in proactive outreach to policyholders for renewals and remarketing opportunities, assisting with efforts to retain customers and improve satisfaction.
