About the Role
U-Haul is seeking friendly, motivated individuals to serve as the face of our company's exceptional service. As a Customer Service Representative, you will work as part of a supportive team to ensure customers receive all the help they need on their journeys. Your day will involve inspecting and maintaining equipment, assisting customers with U-Haul products and services, and utilizing up-to-date technology to dispatch and return rentals.
This position offers on-the-job education and opportunities for career stability and advancement. You will participate in ongoing continuous education through U-Haul University and have the chance to earn certifications for tasks such as filling propane and operating a forklift.
Hiring Process
We operate on the motto 'Hire Fast, Pay Fast.' You can start today and get paid today! The process includes scheduling two hands-on working interviews, for which you will be paid. Upon completion of the U-Haul Equipment Inspection and Verification through our 1-2-3 Punch Certification Program at retail stores, you will receive a $300 cash bonus. A $100 hiring bonus is also available.
Work Environment
The role involves moderate risks requiring special safety precautions, such as working around moving parts, machines, or fumes. Protective clothing or gear, including masks, goggles, gloves, or shields, may be required. The position demands physical exertion, including long periods of standing, moving around indoors and outdoors, reaching objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs.
