About the Role
As a key member of our store team, you will be the face of Walgreens, responsible for delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience. Your primary mission is to ensure every customer leaves with a positive impression through courteous, fair, and efficient service. You will engage with customers and patients by greeting them, offering assistance with products and services, and resolving issues to maintain high satisfaction levels.
Day in the Life
Your day involves more than just processing transactions; you will model and share customer service best practices with all team members. This includes demonstrating interpersonal habits like greeting customers with eye contact and courtesy, as well as Walgreens service traits such as proactively offering help and servicing customers until they are satisfied. You will register sales, process voids, returns, and exchanges, and recommend items to enhance the customer's purchase.
Beyond the register, you will maintain the store's visual appeal by keeping counters and shelves clean, well-merchandised, and properly stocked. You will construct displays, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products. Additionally, you may assist with photo services, web pick-up responsibilities, and general store maintenance to ensure a clean and orderly environment for everyone.
Hiring Process
We look for candidates who are fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) and are willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. While six months of retail experience and prior work experience with Walgreens are preferred, we are committed to finding the right fit for our team.
