About the Role
As a key member of our store team, you will be the face of Walgreens, modeling and delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience. Your primary mission is to ensure every customer interaction is courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient. You will engage with customers and patients by greeting them, offering assistance with products and services, and resolving issues to guarantee a positive experience.
Beyond the checkout counter, you will share customer service best practices with your team, embodying our core service traits such as proactively offering help, identifying needs, and servicing until satisfaction is achieved. You will also serve as a resource in specialized areas like the photo department, assisting with digital passport photos and promotional products, while managing web pick-up responsibilities to ensure seamless order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleRegister sales on assigned cash register and process voids, returns, and exchanges
- check_circleEngage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services
- check_circleResolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience
- check_circleRecommend items for sale and suggest trade-up or companion items to customers
- check_circleKeep counters and shelves clean, well merchandised, and maintain inventory records
- check_circleConstruct and maintain displays including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise
- check_circleAssist with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies
- check_circleProvide customer service in the photo area including digital passport and print services
- check_circleImplement company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss
- check_circleEnsure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products
- check_circleAssist with exterior and interior maintenance to ensure a clean and orderly store condition
- check_circleMonitor and fulfill web pick-up orders for customers arriving at the store
Requirements
- verifiedMust be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
