About the Role
As a key member of our store team, you will be the face of Walgreens, modeling and delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience. Your primary mission is to ensure every customer leaves with a positive impression by providing courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient service. You will engage with customers and patients by greeting them, offering assistance with products and services, and resolving issues to maintain high satisfaction levels.
Day in the Life
Your day involves more than just processing transactions; you will be responsible for registering sales, collecting cash, and handling exchanges or refunds with accuracy. You will actively recommend items, trade-ups, and companion products to enhance the customer's purchase. Beyond the register, you will keep counters and shelves clean and well-merchandised, construct displays, and manage inventory using first-in, first-out methods.
You will also play a vital role in asset protection and compliance, ensuring adherence to state and local laws regarding regulated products like alcohol and tobacco. Your responsibilities extend to the photo area, where you will provide digital passport services and promote photo products, as well as managing web pick-up orders. Additionally, you will assist with store maintenance to ensure a clean and orderly environment for both customers and staff.
Hiring Process
Candidates must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) and be willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. While six months of retail experience and prior Walgreens work experience are preferred, we are committed to finding the right fit for our team.
