Customer Service Associate

About the Role

As a key member of our store team, you will model and deliver a distinctive, delightful customer experience. Your primary mission is to ensure every customer feels welcomed and valued through courteous, fair, and efficient service. You will be the face of the store, engaging with customers and patients by greeting them, offering assistance with products and services, and resolving issues to ensure a positive interaction.

Day in the Life

Your day involves more than just processing transactions. You will register sales, handle cash, and process returns or exchanges with accuracy. Beyond the register, you will actively recommend items, trade-up opportunities, and companion products to enhance the customer's shopping journey. You will maintain a clean and well-merchandised environment by keeping counters and shelves organized, constructing displays, and managing inventory.

You will also play a vital role in store operations by implementing asset protection procedures and ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products. Your responsibilities may extend to the photo area, assisting with digital passport photos and promotional products, as well as managing web pick-up orders for customers arriving at the store. Additionally, you will help maintain the store's appearance by assisting with exterior and interior maintenance.

Hiring Process

We are looking for individuals who are willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours. Candidates with prior retail experience or previous work experience with Walgreens are preferred. Successful candidates will be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) and will be expected to attend training sessions and complete required personal development programs.
