About the Role

As a Cashier at Walgreens, you are the face of our brand, responsible for modeling and delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience. You will be the first point of contact for shoppers, engaging them with courtesy, friendliness, and efficiency as they move through the checkout process.

Your day involves more than just processing transactions; you will actively assist customers with products and services, resolve issues, and answer questions to ensure a positive visit. You will share customer service best practices with your team, demonstrating key interpersonal habits like proactive help and maintaining a satisfied customer until the very end.

Beyond the register, you play a vital role in store operations. You will maintain clean and well-merchandised counters and shelves, construct displays, and manage inventory. Your responsibilities extend to the photo area, where you will provide digital passport services and promote photo products, as well as handling web pick-up orders for customers arriving at the store. You will also assist with store maintenance, ensuring a neat and orderly environment for both customers and staff.

Hiring Process

To join our team, you must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) and be willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. While we prefer candidates with six months of retail experience and prior Walgreens work history, we are committed to providing training and personal development opportunities to help you succeed.
