About the Role

As a key member of our store team, you are the face of Walgreens, responsible for modeling and delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience. Your role goes beyond processing transactions; you engage with customers and patients by greeting them, offering assistance with products and services, and resolving issues to ensure a positive interaction every time.

Day in the Life

Your day involves providing courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service at the assigned cash register, handling everything from collecting cash and distributing change to processing voids, returns, and exchanges. You will actively recommend items for sale, trade-up opportunities, and companion products to enhance the customer's visit.

Beyond the register, you maintain the store's visual appeal by keeping counters and shelves clean, well-merchandised, and properly stocked. This includes constructing displays, completing resets, and ensuring the correct placement of products, such as separating raw foods from pre-cooked items and managing stock rotation. You will also utilize store systems and equipment to assist with photo services, including digital passport photos and creative printing, as well as managing web pick-up responsibilities to fulfill customer orders.

Safety and compliance are central to your duties. You will implement asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss and ensure strict adherence to state and local laws regarding regulated products like alcoholic beverages and tobacco. Additionally, you play a vital role in maintaining the store's appearance by assisting with both exterior and interior maintenance.
