Position Purpose
Customer Service and Sales Associates are the frontline of our retail experience, dedicated to delivering fast, friendly service by actively engaging with customers to understand and meet their needs. In this role, you will become an expert on our products using our internal tools, guiding customers through the process of selecting and purchasing entire projects.
Day in the Life
Your day involves mastering the art of the sale: greeting customers, qualifying their needs, making tailored recommendations, and closing the deal within your assigned department. You will also gain a working knowledge of adjacent departments to provide comprehensive support. Beyond sales, you are responsible for maintaining the in-stock condition of your area, ensuring it remains clean, shop-able, and safe for everyone.
Safety is a core part of your daily routine. You will work cooperatively with Department Supervisors and cross-departmental teams to uphold a safe working and shopping environment. This includes completing specified safety training, immediately correcting hazards, reporting unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty, and adhering to all safety policies to protect yourself, your co-workers, vendors, and customers.
