About the Role
As a Customer Advocate, you will be an enthusiastic, energetic, and self-motivated team player responsible for the final leg of the customer's journey. You will drive custom car haulers to deliver vehicles directly to customers' doors, handling all necessary paperwork and ensuring thorough documentation in our tracking systems. This role is physical and dynamic; you will frequently load and unload vehicles, inspect haulers for safety, and perform vehicle detailing. While a commercial license is not required, you will receive ample training to operate the haulers safely. You must maintain a clean driving record and be prepared to work in various weather conditions, from summer heat to snow.
Hiring Process & Requirements
To join the team, candidates must have at least two years of customer-facing experience. You must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid driver's license, and be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. All applicants must pass a drug test and obtain a DOT Medical Card. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Specific licensing requirements vary by location and must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment (or sooner for certain states), sponsored by Carvana. These include obtaining a Notary license, a Chauffeur's license (required in Illinois, Michigan, Louisiana, and Missouri), or a Vehicle Verifier license (required in California). Candidates must also be able to satisfy state-specific requirements related to accessing DMV, title, and registration systems.
