About the Role

As a Customer Advocate, you will be the final link in our delivery chain, ensuring customers receive their new vehicle with a smile. You will drive custom car haulers to deliver vehicles directly to customers' doors, handling the loading and unloading of cars while performing safety inspections to ensure every vehicle is ready for the road. This role is not just about driving; it involves completing customer paperwork, maintaining thorough notes in our tracking system, and upholding Carvana's high standards for safety and service.

This position is ideal for enthusiastic, energetic, and self-motivated team players who thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will work in various conditions, from indoor facilities to outdoor settings, occasionally facing inclement weather or extreme temperatures. The role requires physical stamina for tasks like detailing and lifting, as well as excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity for driving. While a commercial license is not required, you will receive ample training to operate our haulers safely.

Hiring Process & Requirements

To join the 'Hauler-Life', candidates must have at least two years of customer-facing experience. The application process includes a drug test and the requirement to obtain a DOT Medical Card. Successful candidates must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid driver's license, and be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Please note that specific licensing requirements vary by location and must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment (or two weeks for certain states). These include obtaining a Notary license, a Chauffeur's license (for Illinois, Michigan, Louisiana, and Missouri), or a Vehicle Verifier license (for California). Additionally, candidates must be able to satisfy state-specific requirements related to accessing DMV, title, and registration systems. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
