Melt Ice Creams is a fast-growing local Fort Worth company founded in 2014, dedicated to serving "happy ice cream" one scoop at a time. We believe that treats can change your day, and your day can change the world. Our mission extends beyond just making ice cream; we craft the best five minutes of our customers' day.
Our operations include five scoop shops across the DFW area, a wholesale department, a catering and vending team, and our central commissary kitchen, affectionately known as the "Joy Factory." At Melt, we take great pride in using premium ingredients to create high-quality specialty ice creams and baked goods fresh daily. We strive to provide a quality work experience where creativity meets production, ensuring our team members are as happy as our customers.
As a Culinary Creator (Kitchen Team Member), you will join our Joy Factory to craft edible happiness. This role is designed for passionate culinary enthusiasts who want to create joy from scratch. You won't just be following recipes; you will be the architect of our flavor profiles, hand-baking cookies, crumbles, and brownies, and crafting scratch-made caramels, ganaches, and seasonal fruit jams.
Your day-to-day involves churning small-batch ice cream bases to perfection, assembling limited-edition flavor combinations, and creating frozen treats like popsicles and ice cream cakes. You will be the backbone of our production, ensuring that our products are ready to ship to our five scoop shops on time. This position is a unique blend of culinary artistry and operational precision, requiring you to maintain impeccable kitchen standards while collaborating with a team of fellow ice cream enthusiasts.
We are looking for individuals who embody our core values: positivity, adaptability, and a growth mindset. We believe in a culture where team members are vulnerable, transparent, and proactive. You will have the opportunity to contribute your own ideas for new flavors and production improvements, helping us innovate continuously. Whether you are a seasoned baker or a home enthusiast with a passion for precision, we offer a supportive environment where you can learn specialized food production techniques and grow your skills within a rapidly expanding company.
Ready to create happiness by the scoop? Apply today and tell us why you'd be a perfect addition to our kitchen team. By applying, you agree to receive periodic text messages regarding your application status. We look forward to meeting the next culinary creator who will help us craft joy for our community.
