The Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CCU) team is nationally recognized for high-acuity care. Physicians in this role will work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment that includes cardiothoracic surgeons, advanced heart failure specialists, interventional and general cardiologists, intensivists, perfusionists, and experienced advanced practice providers. The program emphasizes high-quality, patient-centered care and continuous clinical innovation.
We are actively recruiting three board-certified or board-eligible cardiologists or critical care specialists to join our team. This position provides overnight coverage for our 24-bed CCU, serving a diverse population of advanced cardiac and surgical patients. The program continues to grow, offering exposure to some of the most complex cardiac cases in the region, including 30 heart transplants annually and 80 durable LVAD implants per year.
You will be part of a robust clinical research program in advanced heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, and critical care. The role offers opportunities to engage in teaching and mentorship through our affiliation with residency and fellowship training programs. Physicians with academic interests will find strong institutional support for education and clinical research. You will also have access to 24/7 CT surgery and ECMO support, along with state-of-the-art facilities and sub-specialty expertise.
