The Hartford HealthCare Heart & Vascular Institute (HVI) is one of the strongest programs in the country. The Cardiac Surgery service performs approximately 1,500 surgeries per year, and the Advanced Heart Failure Service is one of the largest in New England with one of the highest post-transplant survival rates in the nation, averaging 40 transplants annually.
Hartford HealthCare is a nationally recognized, integrated health system employing more than 2,800 providers across over 500 practice locations throughout Connecticut. Our network includes eight acute care hospitals, thriving community teaching hospitals, and one of New England's largest physician-led, multi-specialty medical groups.
At the Heart & Vascular Institute, our program is built around collaboration, mentorship, and meaningful professional growth. We create an environment where physicians are supported, valued, and empowered to shape both their practice and the future of patient care. Our physicians are educators, researchers, leaders, and above all, compassionate caregivers.
We are seeking an Intensivist with a strong cardiac interest or a Cardiologist with critical care experience and/or training to join a team of collegial and highly trained Cardiac ICU staff at Hartford Hospital.
