About the Role
ICC Healthcare is seeking an Intensivist Medical Director to lead the ICU team at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) in Idaho Falls, Idaho. This role combines clinical excellence with administrative leadership, offering a unique opportunity to shape critical care delivery in a region that serves southeast Idaho, western Wyoming, and parts of Montana.
As the Medical Director, you will manage a 29-bed mixed open ICU, which includes medical, trauma surgery, neurosurgery, cardiac surgery, and burn units. You will supervise all full and part-time Intensivists, lead quality improvement initiatives, and develop collaborative relationships with primary and consulting physicians, facility leadership, and clinical staff. The position includes dedicated administrative time to oversee ICC standards and protocols while maintaining a clinical schedule of 12-hour day shifts with night call from home, supported by an Advanced Practice Provider in-house at night.
Beyond clinical and administrative duties, you will provide peer support to the team to achieve program goals and participate in teaching responsibilities with ACGME-Accredited Residency programs through a partnership with the Idaho College of Medicine.

The hospital also features a comprehensive Heart Center with a full spectrum of cardiology services.
