Since day one, City National Bank has gone further than the competition to help clients, colleagues, and communities flourish. Founded in 1954 by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs, our legacy of integrity, community, and unparalleled client relationships continues today. As a subsidiary of Royal Bank of Canada, one of North America's leading diversified financial services companies, we strive to be the best at whatever we do.
As a Senior Credit Risk Portfolio Officer, you will serve as a strategic partner in safeguarding the bank's residential, consumer, and small business portfolios. This role exists to drive portfolio efficiency and enhance shareholder value by developing and recommending first-line-of-defense credit strategies. You will not only monitor performance but also anticipate market shifts, utilizing advanced analytics to identify strengths, weaknesses, and emerging trends before they impact the bottom line.
In this position, you will bridge the gap between complex data and actionable business insights. Your day will involve conducting deep-dive reviews of portfolio performance, performing sensitivity analyses, and leading the development of advanced visualizations to assist with credit risk surveillance. You will collaborate closely with Credit Administration, Enterprise Risk, and Credit Risk Review teams to ensure robust risk management and policy compliance. Ultimately, you will translate complex technical solutions into clear narratives for senior management, driving decisions that improve portfolio diversification and mitigate potential credit problems.
We review applications on an ongoing basis until the position is filled. To be considered, candidates must meet the required qualifications. For more information on our culture and values, please visit our About Us page.
