About the Role
As a Correctional Services Manager in the Selected Exempt Service (SES), you will lead the oversight of the Statewide Community Release Auditing and Monitoring Program. Based at the Central Office in Tallahassee, you will ensure operational excellence and compliance across privately contracted Community Release Centers (CRCs). Your work involves conducting bi-annual audits, analyzing data trends to address deficiencies, and managing the complex logistics of inmate placements and terminations.
You will serve as the primary liaison between Central Office, field staff, and external vendors, acting as an ombudsman to resolve concerns and facilitate smooth communication. In this capacity, you will supervise Correctional Services Consultants, reviewing their audit reports and corrective action plans to maintain high standards of policy compliance and quality assurance. This is a non-telework position requiring on-site presence at the FDC office.
