Located at the UCHealth Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion in Aurora, CO, this full-time Bariatric Surgery Program Coordinator role serves as the operational backbone of the department. You will organize and coordinate the daily activities and workflow for the program, ensuring seamless operations in a fast-paced clinical environment.
In this onsite position, you will act as a vital resource to staff regarding clinical practices, policies, and program services. Your work involves participating in multidisciplinary teams to collaboratively address program development, problem resolution, cost containment, and regulatory compliance. You will facilitate the development and evaluation of program services, practice standards, and initiatives, including managing committees and organizing staff and public education opportunities. While the primary focus is coordination, you may also provide direct patient care as needed to evaluate or assist with patient treatment.
