The RN Clinician, Medical Oncology is an experienced healthcare professional dedicated to delivering safe, effective, and independent nursing care. In this role, you will utilize clinical knowledge, research, and experience to adapt to changing situations and personalize care based on the AACN Synergy Model for Patient Care. You will serve as a vital resource for colleagues and a dedicated advocate for patients and their families.
This position operates on a full-time schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM (36 hours). You will function in a developing leadership capacity, including Charge Nurse responsibilities when assigned, and assist in orienting staff and students. Your work involves thorough patient assessments, developing care plans with patient and family input, and identifying learning needs to recommend appropriate resources. Additionally, you will contribute to organizational standards by identifying the need for policy revisions based on evidence-based research and analyzing data to improve patient care.
