This position serves as a vital support function for remote construction camps, ensuring the daily preparation and production of large quantities of food for field employees. The role is responsible for the end-to-end management of the kitchen, from cooking entrees, soups, and baked goods to maintaining serving line levels and ensuring the cleanliness of all preparation areas and equipment. The successful candidate will operate in a dynamic, close-quarters environment, adapting to fluctuating work hours and the unique demands of a construction site setting.
This is a non-exempt position located in a remote construction camp setting. The work environment can be physically demanding, often involving long hours, weekends, and exposure to extremes of heat, cold, and noise. Candidates must be prepared to work in close quarters and maintain high safety standards while handling sharp tools and hot appliances. A valid driver's license and personal transportation are required, as no travel or lodging is provided by the company.
