The Head Cook serves as a vital leader in our airline catering operations, responsible for preparing and cooking various food items according to precise recipes. This role goes beyond cooking; you will act as a lead, monitoring production quality and efficiencies while supporting Hot Food leadership. You will assemble equipment according to airline specifications, package and prepare alcoholic beverages for flights, and ensure all production areas remain compliant with strict sanitation standards and customer requirements.
In this position, you will handle a variety of food products including seafood, beef, pork, poultry, fruits, and vegetables. You will be exposed to the dynamic environment of an airline kitchen, which includes extreme temperature changes and noise. The role requires physical stamina to lift, push, pull, and move products and equipment up to 50 pounds frequently, as well as the ability to work varying schedules that may include weekends and holidays.
