In this role, you’ll contribute to the future of automation technology while supporting critical manufacturing operations tied to GM’s vision of Zero Crashes, Zero Emissions, and Zero Congestion. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and plant operations to ensure successful execution of controls projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
This is a 100% on-site contract position based in Warren, Michigan. The role operates on a 1st Shift schedule (7:30 AM – 3:30 PM core hours), though the schedule may adjust based on plant support needs. You will spend significant time working closely with suppliers and manufacturing teams, with a high level of team interaction and collaboration. Overtime is available as needed, and travel may be required on an as-needed basis to support equipment startups and launches.
