As a Senior Building Automation Engineer for OCI's Data Center Facilities, you will serve as a senior technical expert for the building automation and operational technology (OT) systems that underpin our mission-critical infrastructure. This role is designed to lead complex controls troubleshooting, govern the technical quality of automation solutions, and ensure the reliability, cybersecurity, and lifecycle performance of BMS, EPMS, PLC, SCADA, and OT networks across our global sites.
You will operate as a senior individual contributor and technical peer to Facilities Operations, Reliability Engineering, and site leadership. While this is not a people management position, you will provide essential technical leadership by mentoring junior engineers and guiding critical decisions regarding automation architecture, alarm philosophy, integration quality, and site supportability. This position is based onsite in Saline Township, MI, where you will support 24/7 operations in a high-availability environment.

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Controls, Computer Engineering, Industrial Automation, or related field. Deep experience with major automation ecosystems such as Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Ignition, Niagara, or Johnson Controls. Experience with OT cybersecurity practices and frameworks such as IEC 62443 or NIST 800-82. Experience supporting alarm rationalization, commissioning strategy, controls governance, data integration, trend analytics, and multi-site standardization. OEM, platform, or advanced industry certifications in controls, networking, industrial cybersecurity, or BMS/SCADA systems. Experience with scripting, automation tooling, data analysis, or digital monitoring improvements.
