The Controls and Automation Engineer serves as a key partner to the Facilities Manager, Maintenance, Production, Quality, IT, and Process Engineering teams. This role exists to maintain and enhance the functionality of mission-critical automation and control systems within our industrial environment. You will drive process improvements, cost reductions, and equipment integration while leading large-scale projects with minimal supervision.
In this position, you will bridge the gap between legacy systems and modern robust architectures. Your day-to-day involves analyzing process data to support continuous improvement, troubleshooting complex equipment issues using SCADA and data analysis tools, and overseeing contractors during plant modifications. You will also design training packages and create technical schematics to ensure operational excellence and equipment reliability.
