This position serves as a critical component of the Georgia Department of Labor's infrastructure, ensuring the continuous operation of statewide computer systems. The role focuses on monitoring BPE/TPE transactions and maintaining the integrity of environmental, security, electrical, and UPS systems within a large-scale data center environment.
The Computer Operator acts as the first line of defense for network systems, verifying statewide access and coordinating with vendors for hardware and software maintenance. A key responsibility involves ensuring all printed output meets high-quality standards, free from defects. The role requires a deep understanding of production control, change management, and incident response protocols to support business continuity and disaster recovery efforts.
This is a weekend shift position operating from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on Saturdays and Sundays. To meet full-time requirements, the incumbent must also complete an additional 16 hours of work during the week. These additional hours are flexible and can be scheduled on any shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) at the candidate's convenience.
This role is based in Atlanta, GA, and requires onsite presence.
