About the Opportunity
Robert Half is partnering with a leading financial services organization in the Greater Seattle Area to identify a Compliance Specialist ready to immediately join their team. This is a contract position with the potential for extension or conversion into a permanent role. The organization seeks a professional who can hit the ground running to support their regulatory and compliance functions.
About the Role
In this position, you will serve as a critical link between the organization, consumers, and regulators. Your day-to-day will involve reviewing consumer disputes and formal complaints, assessing supporting documentation, and determining appropriate next steps based on regulatory expectations. You will examine rental agreements and contract records to identify key terms, potential violations, and facts relevant to each case.
You will be responsible for preparing accurate written responses, summaries, and case timelines for consumers, regulators, and internal stakeholders in accordance with legal requirements. The role requires managing multiple deadlines simultaneously by tracking case activity and prioritizing time-sensitive matters. Additionally, you will address attorney general complaints and similar escalated issues with well-supported documentation and careful attention to compliance obligations.
