The Senior Counsel, Compliance & Data Privacy role serves as the steward of Core Laboratories' global Corporate Compliance and Data Privacy programs. This position is designed to ensure the organization adheres to complex regulatory landscapes across the US, EU, and UK while fostering a culture of ethics and integrity.
In this capacity, you will act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, translating intricate legal developments into actionable risk mitigation strategies. The role requires a unique blend of investigative rigor and collaborative communication, as you will lead inquiries into alleged ethics violations and data privacy incidents. You will be the primary point of contact for regulatory authorities and the internal helpline, ensuring that all matters are handled with discretion and thoroughness.
A significant portion of your day will involve designing and coordinating company-wide training initiatives. By delivering these programs across multiple platforms and locations, you will empower employees to navigate compliance requirements effectively. Success in this role demands the ability to interact cooperatively at all levels of the Core Lab organization, bridging the gap between legal requirements and operational realities.
Candidates for this position are expected to demonstrate strong presentation skills and a proven track record in in-house corporate investigations or representing clients in investigative matters. The selection process will focus on identifying individuals who can effectively manage global compliance frameworks and drive a culture of accountability.
