About the Role
The Senior Compliance Auditor will join the Corporate Compliance team to plan and execute comprehensive compliance and ethics audits across Marmon subsidiary companies. This role is critical for assessing compliance risks and ensuring adherence to all relevant policies and legal requirements, including anti-bribery, anti-corruption, import/export regulations, and sanctions laws.
Reporting to the Vice President (Legal) and Chief Compliance Officer, you will prepare detailed reports for management with actionable recommendations for corrective action and improvement. Success in this position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively collaborate across various departments and subsidiaries.
Work Environment
This position operates on a hybrid schedule, typically consisting of two days per week in Marmon's corporate office in the Loop area of Chicago and three days from home. However, extensive travel to Marmon's subsidiary sites (approximately 50%) is required to conduct onsite compliance and ethics audits.

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- verified7 to 10 years of experience in auditing or corporate compliance
- verifiedCIA, CPA, CCEP, or CFE certification preferred
- verifiedFamiliarity with D.O.J. guidelines on effective corporate compliance program standards
- verifiedIn-depth knowledge of forensic compliance auditing practices related to FCPA, import/export controls, and sanctions laws
- verifiedProficiency with auditing software and Microsoft Office suite
- verifiedExperience with development of compliance risk assessments using data analysis and AI tools preferred
Nice to Have
Forensic auditing experience at a global accounting or consulting firm. Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP), or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification. Experience with the development of compliance risk assessments using data analysis and AI tools.
