A boutique family law litigation firm focused on high-stakes divorce and custody matters is seeking a Senior Family Law Litigation Attorney for its Orange County practice.

This role is centered on courtroom advocacy and trial work involving complex financial issues, including business valuations and forensic accounting. Attorneys are expected to be confident in court, capable of leading litigation strategy, and comfortable managing sophisticated, high-net-worth cases.

The firm operates using a structured pod-style model where senior attorneys lead a dedicated team including associates, paralegals, and legal assistants. This structure allows attorneys to focus on litigation strategy, trial preparation, and client advocacy while supported by an integrated case team.

As a Senior Attorney, you will manage a full family law caseload from inception through resolution, serving as lead counsel in trials and contested evidentiary hearings. You will handle mediations and settlement conferences while developing strategies for complex financial and custody disputes. In this capacity, you will supervise and mentor associates, paralegals, and support staff, reviewing discovery and pleadings prepared by your team. You will also advise clients on legal strategy, risks, and outcomes while maintaining a rigorous court appearance schedule.

This is a hybrid role requiring in-office presence in Orange County, with court appearances 2–3 times per week in Orange and Santa Ana. The position targets approximately 1,750 billable hours annually and involves the leadership of an assigned case team.

Compensation includes a base salary of $140,000 – $220,000 (DOE), additional compensation for exceeding billable expectations, and referral/origination bonus opportunities.
