We are seeking a Compliance Engineer to serve as a critical bridge between commercial, engineering, and manufacturing teams. In this position, you will provide essential regulatory expertise for low and medium voltage power distribution equipment, E-houses, and control systems. Your work ensures that Forgent products meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency while supporting the entire regulatory lifecycle—from pre-sales estimating and new product development to field services and design standards.
You will be the guardian of our compliance process, partnering closely with design engineering to integrate safety requirements into product specifications and schematics. Your day-to-day involves coordinating with external certification bodies like UL and Intertek, managing complex documentation packages, and conducting internal audits to maintain adherence to quality standards. By monitoring regulatory changes and supporting root-cause analysis, you will help drive continuous improvement across our engineering and manufacturing operations, ensuring our products not only meet customer documentation requirements but exceed them.
