Key Responsibilities
- check_circleReview incident reports and manage the incident reporting database daily
- check_circleInvestigate reported incidents and interview staff and witnesses
- check_circleMaintain the Compliance and Ethics Hotline and respond to fraud, waste, and abuse reports
- check_circleAnalyze collected data to identify trends, high risks, and areas for improvement
- check_circleCreate and deliver compliance and risk-related training programs
- check_circleMonitor key metrics using dashboard tools to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements
- check_circleAssist with the preparation of the annual FTCA application
- check_circleReview exclusion and preclusion screening data to ensure federal healthcare compliance
- check_circleCollaborate with leadership and human resources to determine corrective action plans
- check_circleDevelop, implement, and refine compliance and risk-related policies and procedures
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree required; risk or quality related field, healthcare administration, public health, Legal or similar field preferred
- verifiedTwo years of healthcare risk, quality, compliance or operations experience required
- verifiedExperience with managing incidents, conducting risk assessments, audits, and data analysis preferred
- verifiedKnowledgeable about and experience with regulatory requirements governing healthcare programs in California, including Medicare and Medicaid regulations preferred
- verifiedAbility to spreadsheet software for data analysis and reporting, such as Excel
Nice to Have
Bachelor's degree in a risk or quality related field, healthcare administration, public health, or Legal field. Two years of healthcare compliance experience within California. Clinical or direct patient care experience. Experience with managing incidents, conducting risk assessments, audits, and data analysis. Knowledgeable about and experience with regulatory requirements governing healthcare programs in California, including Medicare and Medicaid regulations.
