About the Role

We are currently searching for a Compensation Analyst to join our team. This position will support the mission of the University and the Human Resources department by assisting with the development and administration of the University's compensation program so that it continues to attract, retain, and motivate employees. The role analyzes internal and external data to ensure internally equitable and market-competitive pay practices, providing recommendations that align with organizational goals and compliance standards. You will collaborate with Human Resources Business Partners and unit leadership teams to evaluate job roles and support compensation-related decision-making.

  • check_circleEvaluate new and existing jobs to determine position value and ensure appropriate classification
  • check_circlePartner with HR colleagues to assess Wage and Hour compliance and FLSA exemption determinations
  • check_circleAudit compensation data within HRIS to ensure accuracy and compliance with policies
  • check_circleAssist with processing Independent Contractor and Prevailing Wage Determinations
  • check_circleRespond to ad hoc compensation data requests and generate relevant reports for stakeholders
  • check_circleModify and create job descriptions that accurately reflect current roles and requirements
  • check_circleUpdate and maintain market survey tools and forward salary survey information to vendors
  • check_circlePrepare reports, spreadsheets, and executive summaries on compensation findings
