We specialize in programs for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members, and Veterans, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services. Whether you have previous experience in this field or are looking to make a tangible impact, we invite you to join a team where no two days are the same.
This position is designed for individuals who want to make a difference every day in someone's life. You will play a crucial role in the success of our organization by providing direct support to participants in our Deaf Community Services program. This is a supportive care role, not an interpreter position.
In this role, you will carry out rewarding work that fosters growth and independence. Your day will involve providing training, assistance, and supervision in living skills, therapeutic recreation, and other forms of support within both residential and community settings. You will assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, shopping, and cleaning, while also facilitating working relationships between employers and individuals served. Additionally, you will support community involvement by accompanying participants on outings or providing transportation to work and other activities. You will work closely with clinical staff to ensure therapeutic and behavioral plans are effectively supported.
We are looking for candidates with a caring attitude and a dedication to assisting others. If you are fluent in American Sign Language (Level 2 or higher) and possess a valid driver's license, we want to hear from you. Successful candidates must be able to clear background checks.
