In this entry-level position, you will implement the mission of the Deaf Services Division by supporting individuals experiencing mental health and/or substance use challenges. You will work collaboratively with a team to supervise daily activities, providing ongoing support, guidance, and role modeling to help program residents increase their independence and achieve their personal goals.
Your day will involve following individualized plans to assist residents with medication management, finances, and community integration. You will ensure a clean, safe, and home-like environment while treating every individual with dignity and respect in accordance with our Human Rights Policy. This role requires high energy and the ability to function effectively within a team atmosphere.
To apply, please ensure you meet the core qualifications, including a High School Diploma or GED, one year of related experience, and fluency in American Sign Language (ASL). A valid driver's license and access to an operational, insured vehicle are required for transporting clients. Candidates with a demonstrated understanding of serving culturally diverse populations are strongly preferred.
