About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Community Paramedicine Provider to serve the Greater New Orleans region. In this role, you will respond to dispatches and conduct both initial and ongoing home visits, delivering high-quality patient care under physician orders, regional protocols, and A-MED standards.
The Community Paramedic must be able to work independently while functioning effectively as part of a care planning team. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential to interact with all patients in a kind and professional manner. You will be responsible for operating the MIH vehicle in strict accordance with safety regulations and laws, as well as ensuring the proper tracking and functioning of deployed A-MED devices.
Training and Development
Successful candidates will attend specialized Community Paramedic Training and A-MED equipment/device training. The role involves ongoing training and the incorporation of additional skills into the MIH-CP framework to ensure continuous professional growth and clinical excellence.
